Thank you,  Google !

What this confirms for me is without becoming aware, recognizing and comprehending our perception – we must first follow those little intuitive “nudges” we receive from time to time.

Basically, when you are better able to keep your perspective in check, you are better able to use the intuitive gifts you have been given. Ruling out logical means (it IS true; not EVERYTHING is or has to be Spiritual, have a deeper meaning, etc.) all the while, trusting that “voice inside your head” – you can not and will not fail. Preventing, this “voice” is not telling you things unnecessary to your health; in that case, please seek out help. What I am speaking of here, in terms of the word “voice” is our inner-selves; our inner-guidance.

Did you know that by doubting your nudges, PUSHES toward the right direction, you are only, in turn, doubting the most important aspect of your Spiritual and/or personal development? – yourself. Though introduce me to one person who never doubted themselves a day in their lives and I can bet pigs will start flying that very day!

Though, at this point, not much would surprise me! I am just sayin’.

So, how can you learn to decipher between your external vs. internal interferences, influences, what-have-you? How can you tell if something is intuitively nudging at you or are you perceiving a “false nudge?” What I mean by this is, is this really something that is bothering you to such a degree that you feel dysfunctional? Also, is this your own situation or feeling? Read my post on being an empath here to give a bit more insight on coming to your conclusion.

Your natural, God-given (Source, love, Universe) intuition allows you to be able to pick up on any changes in your surrounding environment. Danger, tension, sadness, frustration, joy, love, laughter – all can be perceived correctly when the right usage of perception comes into the picture.

This brings me to a personal story of mine. I was eleven-years-old and it was a Saturday. My dad and stepmom had a “Disney World Day” planned for us – brother and sister included. I knew, just knew where we were going; yet, I remained quiet. I did this because:

– My siblings are younger than me.

– They did not know where we were going.

– I knew they (the parentals) wanted us to be surprised.

Seem like a small, maybe even silly example? Perhaps so, but I tell you this to point out a few things:

I went through the facts first. My siblings, being younger than me, would be so excited and who was I to ruin that for them? Then, my dad and stepmom; what would they have thought had I spoiled the surprise? There was that to consider as well.

I decided, despite my eagerness to “let them in on it,” to stay quiet. Turns out, this was not only just to appease everyone, but also to do what I was intuitively being told to do.

I just knew to keep quiet and act surprised myself.

Before that same stepmother passed away a few years later, she believed she would NEVER be able to surprise me. And, I mean truly surprise me with something. Eventually, she achieved this objective by convincing my siblings and I that we were going on a free tour of the Disney cruise ship (we are Walt Disney World lovers if you have not already noticed haha). I was fourteen-years-old at this point. From my teenage perspective, my emotions, and pretty much a general non-belief in ANYTHING – I was unable to effectively use my intuition. Again, this is a very small example of an intuitive knowing; though, still depicts that, no matter how small the situation or circumstance, we all have the ability to pick up on those subtle cues. Maybe it was also simply something SHE needed before her physical time here, in this life was up.

Going forward, what ways can YOU better implement this strategy in your life? How can you better grasp this concept without the doubt?

Do not over-analyze. Analyzing requires structured thought. In of itself, thought is a good thing, of course; however, over-thinking and analyzing the situation till your blue in the face does nothing for your psyche’.

Try your best to stop asking why, how, where, when, etc. You do this because it reminds you that you do not have to always have the answer(s) – you can just trust that you will when the time is right.

Just trust. When is the last time you just let go and decided to trust whatever situation – whether an obstacle or a magnification of joy you were facing? During a “down” time, do you trust that you are in good hands? Do you trust your Guidance, but more importantly, yourself? Putting the external people, situations and the like aside; would you be able to take a day, even if only just that day, to just trust?

Try it. Just for a day; just for TODAY. Just trust. Your intuition is not what skews your reality; more-so, your perception of it does or can. This is all, of course, depending on you.

I will depart with some wise words :

“The greatest thing by far is to be a master of metaphor; it is the one thing that cannot be learned from others; and it is also a sign of genius, since a good metaphor implies an intuitive perception of the similarity of the dissimilar.”
