When you focus more on the little things, you get more of the bigger things. When you take the time to appreciate the small things in life, they truly won’t seem so small anymore. When is the last time you went outside and took in nature? The birds, the trees, the sky? When is the last time you truly FELT nature, in all its beautiful glory? Did you know that just simply acknowledging those “little things” for the true beauty they are, more of what is already beautiful in your life will become more apparent to you?

It’s no surprise when people are feeling stressed, panicked, upset in general one of their first instincts is to “get some fresh air.” Why do you think that is? The reason for this is because we were meant to “get outside.” We were meant to live a life where, even what some may presume to be small things, can be appreciated and seen as big things.

Remember: It’s all about your perspective and view of the World, the places around you, and how you feel about where you are, especially in the present moment. Again, as I so often remind you, the present moment is all we have.

Stop and take a look around.

We can’t control every situation around us, as life simply happens and depending on your perspective of it all, determines how you react. Reminding your self of where you are, how you’re feeling, and how you CAN control those feelings (not life, but your feelings towards it) brings about a healthier and happier way of living.

Stay healthy and happy! Remember: You are here for a reason and deserve the best by being the best that you can be and take note of the best aspects of your life and the life of those around you. You can directly affect others’ around you – whether negatively or positively – by demonstrating gratitude for what is, no matter what that is.

Life is beautiful. When going through tough times, it can be difficult to recall that fact without shifting into a different mindset and knowing that those “little things” aren’t so little at all…In fact, they can be miraculous. Once you notice this, the more you notice it and the “size” of the small and big things somehow blend together in a synchronistic way that is both astonishing and a miracle in of itself.
