Do you remember playing as a child? In everything you ever did – you were having fun. For example, if you can recall doing the dishes as a child, what do you notice? Were you making “ice cream” cones out of the soap? Pretending you were working in an ice cream shop, waiting on customers? Versus today – more than likely, you find yourself dreading the “grueling” process altogether. You know, deep down, you need to do the dishes; however, you also have this sense of repeat, knowing that you’ll just have to do them again. And again. And again. But, you want clean dishes, right?

Literally, the most mundane things in our lives become more difficult to carry out when we forget to have fun. We get better at life, in general, once we decide (because it’s OUR CHOICE!) to incorporate more playfulness into our lives.

You don’t have to make fake ice cream out of the soap bubbles; but, you CAN put on some music and sway back and forth. The more you move your body with, instead of against, what you’re currently doing – the more your brain moves with it.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing – try to introduce more liveliness into the day-to-day hustle and bustle of your life. You’ll notice, with time and effort, this simple change or changes will bring about magnificent shifts in how you perceive yourself and the world around you.

You’ve got this!
