When looking back at where you’ve been, consider where you currently are. Take the time to look, instead of at others’ accomplishments, at your own. How far have you come from the person you were a month, six months, a year, two years, etc. etc. ago? How much progress have you made on YOUR life — not someone else’s or their expectation of it, but of yours? How much progress have you made in bettering yourself?
The little things count and matter in the whole sum of all things. You are a diamond in the sky, and a beautifully imperfect one at that!
What can you do today to compare yourself, not to others, but to the previous you, you used to be? Celebrate YOU!
